Lyre’s FAQ’s

PRODUCT & INGREDIENTS

Do Lyre’s products contain alcohol?

Lyre’s products contain less than 0.5% ABV, which is the standard classification for non-alcoholic beverages in many markets.

If you require beverages with 0.0% ABV for medical, religious, or personal reasons, we recommend checking individual product labels or contacting our team.

How are Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirits made?

Lyre’s products are purposefully crafted as non-alcoholic from the outset.

Our team analyses the flavour profiles of classic spirits and recreates them using carefully selected ingredients, including botanicals, extracts, and natural flavours. These are blended to achieve balance, complexity, and mouthfeel without relying on alcohol.

What is the difference between Lyre’s and dealcoholized spirits?

Dealcoholized products begin as traditional alcoholic beverages and have the alcohol removed after production.

Lyre’s products are crafted as non-alcoholic from the beginning, allowing the flavour, texture, and balance to be designed intentionally.

Are Lyre’s products vegan?

Most Lyre’s products are suitable for vegan diets. As formulations may vary by product and region, we recommend checking individual product pages or labels for confirmation.

Are Lyre’s products gluten-free?

Lyre’s products are generally considered gluten-free, as they do not contain wheat, barley, rye, or oats in most formulations. However, we do not hold formal gluten-free certification.

Do Lyre’s products contain allergens?

Some products may contain allergens such as sulphites or botanical extracts. Always check individual product pages or packaging for ingredient and allergen information.

How long do Lyre’s products last once opened?

Once opened, the optimal enjoyment window depends on the product type:

  • Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirits: Best enjoyed within 12 weeks after opening. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, once opened – store in the refrigerator.
  • Lyre’s Ready to Drink cans: Best consumed within 12 hours of opening.
  • Lyre’s Classico Sparkling: Best enjoyed within 48 hours of opening when stored in the refrigerator with a stopper to help preserve carbonation.

As Lyre’s products are non-alcoholic, they don’t have the same preserving properties as full-strength spirits, so freshness and storage play an important role in maintaining flavour and quality.
